Unfortunately my day job isn't as a photographer, so the best way to describe myself is as a serious photography enthusiast. For years, I've dabbled with cameras and photography, but the love affair really blossomed with the introduction of digital photography. Stemmed primarily from gadget lust, when digital compact cameras hit the shops, I rushed out and bought one and instantly fell in love with the immediate gratification of being able to see my shots the second the shutter has fired. The addiction started there.
Since that day, my enthusiasm and interest in photography hasn't waned. I love the technical aspects of photography, in particular digital photography and I love to hate struggling with the artistic elements. Each day I push myself to learn one more new thing about my art, all the time striving to take that one WOW image that makes people stop and look.
This website contains some of my favourite images to date. Unfortunately I am not at all discerning about what I shoot, so my shots range from a rusty piece of barbed wire, to a homeless man with a pigeon as a best friend all the way through to photographs of Irish and UK models. Please take your time to look around and I hope that one my shots will make you stop, look and think wow
